The personal messages I have received since I started sharing my writing are small reasons for joy in my inbox. When you reach out and meet my vulnerability with that of your own, there is connection...the raw, authentic kind....this fuels my motherhood SOUL. If you feel a personal connection to my words, please message me, and I WILL respond!

I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT HAPPINESS,HEALTH, & WELLNESS.
I assumed my experience and knowledge about "wellness" would guarantee success in motherhood, so when I first saw two blue lines on a stick, I set the intention of being the most healthy, perfect, and happy mom EVER.
What I want you to know is....

I STRIVE TO BE RESILIENT
(NOT PERFECT OR HAPPY ALL OF THE TIME).
I likely would have gone on writing and contemplating resilience for my own sanity, but one night I ended up in an ICU Burn Unit with my toddler son. At the time I was 36 weeks along in a high-risk pregnancy and had a 4-year-old daughter at home. What began as a blog to keep my friends and family updated on our "crisis" became a conversation I have continued about how we can not only survive what is hard, but thrive in the aftermath of adversity.
